The Kazreakty exhibition took place in Almaty, capital of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan is a country in Central Asia. Ranked the ninth largest country in the world, it is bordered by Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the People's Republic of China. The country also borders on a significant part of the Caspian Sea.
The government of Kazakhstan plans to double its Gross domestic product (GDP) by 2008 and triple it by 2015 as compared to 2000. GDP growth has been stable in the last five years, at a rate higher than 9%.
